Drew Sowell

Drew Sowell is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance with an emphasis in Commercial Music Technology at the Lamont School of Music. He hails from Gunnison, CO, and he has played music since he was 10 years old. Throughout high school, Drew studied privately with John Kincaid, a retired trumpet professor from Western State College, which prepared him for music study in college. Besides playing the trumpet, Drew also enjoys playing guitar, drums, piano, and singing. Upon graduating, he plans to pursue a career in audio engineering with a few playing gigs and some private teaching on the side. Drew also has a desire to pursue graduate school to help further his studio recording knowledge.
